Chenelle Barratt

Chenelle is the proud businessowner of Zen Elements massage and Bodywork. She began her studies of massage therapy, bodywork, and the healing arts in 2015. She graduated from the Bodhi Tree Center, and has since opened her own business in 2020. She specializes in cupping and vacuum therapy, and has extensive knowledge of deep kinetic release and cross fiber techniques. Along with this, she integrates Bowen therapy and other types of myofascial massage into her dynamic healing sessions.

Chenelle is a certified Hypnotherapist assisting her clients develop more self awareness and intuitive personal development. During her many years as a bodyworker she discovered that much of the tension and discomfort stored in the body is a result from the different limiting beliefs ruminating in the mind. By addressing the inner narrative, and transforming negative thought patterns, her clients are able to think and feel in a more aligned and positive way!

Chenelle is level 2 Reiki certified and uses sound healing and intuitive touch to address elements of emotional and mental dis-ease and unrest that are stored in the body. Her philosophy is that this stored discomfort contributes to overall muscle fatigue and reoccurring pain and ailments.

 Chenelle is incredibly passionate about the over all health and well being of her clients. She aims to inspire self discovery through her work, and a deeper connection of the self

through the development of unique personal healing programs!

      Kate Renard

       

      Kate is the proud business owner of Zen Active massage and bodywork. She has been practicing massage therapy for over 10 years. She studied at the California Institute of Massage and Spa Services in Sonoma, California. She specializes in sports-injury massage and trigger point therapy. She combines her love for Swedish style and deep tissue massage into one integrative session.

      Kate has provided massage in a variety of settings such as chiropractic offices, spas, and has her own private practice. She has years of experience providing body work to recreational athletes, people with chronic illness, and those looking to de-stress.

      Over the years she has gained many hours of personal training and coaching.
      She has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
      Currently she is finishing a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology at Sacramento State University
      and has also studied anatomy and has worked as a tutor in a lab.

       

      Kate is very passionate about body work and movement, helping her clients increase their longevity and quality of life. She strives to assist her clients in injury prevention and recovery, as well as addressing repetitive stress injury and pain management.

      Outside of massage Kate's personal enjoyments are the aerial and circus arts. She also enjoys backpacking and being close to nature!
